[ring-ring] After ten years in Indinesian music industry, this pop out hailing from Bandung is still holding onto its position as one of the most successful bands in the country. So far Ungu have released four triumphant albums and two mini albums characterized by the public. Their songs are basically inspired by the ususal problems that normal young men face, with song variations from the common love theme to religious themes. Their music, a mixture of acoustic and archestral, is often used Indonesian films and television dramas. Maintaining the drama after Ungu will be the renowed DJ Riri Mestica, who was the only DJ to represent Indonesia at the ‘Zoukout Dance Festival 2003′ in Singapore. Riri has spun in Europe, Malaysia, and Singapore as well as spinning all over Indonesia. His latest releases entitled “STREOMESTICA”, won “Best Album”" at the REMA awards 2007, while his anthem “Rusty Guitar” was a hit on dancefloors all over the archipelago.
